Frequently asked questions

What types of plaques do you produce?

We design and manufacture commemorative brass and bronze plaques for heritage sites, memorial gardens, civic buildings, and private memorials. Each piece is custom-made to suit the location and purpose.

How long does a typical plaque project take?

Timelines depend on the size, complexity, and finishing requirements. A standard single plaque usually takes three to four weeks from design approval to delivery. Larger commissions may require six to eight weeks.

Can you restore old or damaged plaques?

Yes, restoration is a core part of our work. We assess the condition, clean without abrasive methods, repair structural damage, and re-engrave faded inscriptions. A protective coating is applied to slow future wear.

Do you help with wording and design?

We offer full consultancy on text, layout, and visual elements. Our team works with you to ensure the inscription is accurate, the style matches the setting, and the final piece meets heritage or personal requirements.

What is the best way to care for a brass plaque?

Indoor plaques require occasional dusting and a dry cloth. Outdoor plaques benefit from an annual inspection and a reapplication of protective wax or lacquer. We provide care instructions with every installation.
